Areli Ramphal, LCSW, LSCSW is one of our licensed mental health professionals at Gilda's Club Kansas City. She works as a Social Worker at Children's Mercy Hospital in the Hematology/Oncology Division, and supports patients and their families with hematology blood diseases/disorders.  What she is most proud about her participation at Gilda's Club and Children's Mercy is that she can serve families whose primary language is Spanish. Cancer and blood disorders do not discriminate and every should feel supported and heard. 

She lives with her husband, Ryan and her daughter Maya. She enjoys cooking, running, and traveling. She has two cats, a dog, and a snake as pets.
